Krasny Yar pulled off one of the biggest shocks in club rugby history when they marked their European debut by stunning Challenge Cup holders Stade Francais Paris in Siberia. Stade led 12-5 at one stage, but Krasny Yar rallied superbly to pull 24-12 in front just before half-time and ran out 34-29 winners.
