Nathan Hill Picador €10.83 Samuel is in a deadend job facing financial meltdown when, out of the blue, he is presented a lifeline. The only problem is that it involves his mother, who walked out on him when he was a child and is now a celebrity for all the wrong reasons. This is a tremendous first novel, full of sharp satirical observation and gloriously comic scenes.
