United see light and target Soler power

MANCHESTER UNITED are pushing to wrap up a £30million deal to sign Spain under-21 midfielder Carlos Soler.

Soler’s club Valencia are unlikely to hold out for the player’s £75million buy-out clause because of financial issues.

After a series of disappointing transfer windows following the departure of Alex Ferguson, United are keen to build on the signings of Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic in July.

United are also keen to do business early by agreeing the deal for Soler now but not triggering it until next summer.
