Katie, our new world champion
As Taylor wins an easy world title, Farrell lands his very own knockout!
HOLLYWOOD hunk Colin Farrell turned up to Katie Taylor’s fight last night with a knockout of his own.
The Wicklow native was seen ringside at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, where Taylor scored an easy points victory over her opponent Anahi Esther Sanchez, to be crowned world champion.
At his side was the pretty brunette he has been seen with on a number of occasions since January 2016.
The once-renowned ladies man has managed to keep the identity of his new love interest a mystery – and the only ring in sight was of the prize-fighting kind.
The pair shared a loving kiss ahead of the Taylor fight which was on the undercard of the Anthony Joshua.
The father of two had previously stopped by Taylor’s dressing room with his girlfriend, to wish Katie good luck before the fight. Colin’s plus-one was demurely dressed in a casual black poloneck sweater.

The happy couple were spotted at various locations in Los Angeles in January, May and October of last year. In March 2016, he reportedly took his lover to an Adele concert in Dublin.
Farrell is enjoying something of a renaissance in his career with a Golden Globe-nominated turn in the dystopic drama The Lobster which also stars Rachel Weisz..
He is currently starring in the critically acclaimed The Killing Of A Sacred Deer, made by the same director, Yorgos Lanthimos, alongside Dubliner Barry Keoghan and Hollywood A-Lister Nicole Kidman. Colin Farrell has two sons from previous relationships. He had his first son James, 14, with Canadian model Kim Bordenave.
