Sharon: My nip-tucks are for me, NOT men

SHE is one of the most famous stars on TV and is candidly outspoken about having had cosmetic surgery to look her best in public.

But Sharon Osbourne is adamant that she has had the procedures for one person only – herself. Speaking in an exclusive interview with The Irish Mail on Sunday’s Magazine today, the X Factor judge says: ‘I do this for myself. I spent years looking like an Oompa Loompa. I am not doing it to get a man.’ Although Osbourne, 65, is a staunch feminist, she has always been open about undergoing a range of cosmetic surgeries, including gastric bands and facelifts.

She has been married to heavy metal star Ozzy for 35 years and the pair were separated briefly in 2016 after his series of affairs came to light. ‘I spent a lot of time away working in 2016 and I wasn’t there for him,’ she says. But Sharon is slowing down to be with her husband as he nears his 70th birthday. ‘If you want a marriage to work, you have to spend time together – that’s what gets you through.’ She says her family’s lifestyle is far from normal: ‘We will never be a Volvodriving, dinner-on-thetable sort of family.’ And Sharon has always been open with her three grown-up children about her turbulent marriage. ‘Nothing is hidden from our kids and I don’t regret that for a second. It has made us incredibly close,’ she says.
