Poor idea

John Lee’s article in last week’s MoS (‘No planning in place for heroin injection centres’) leaves me with further questions about such places.

There is little to commend injecting centres as the addicts are injecting themselves with dirty, contaminated opiates that damage their brains and bodies.

Rather, there should be dedicated healthcare centres where addicts can be weaned off heroin. Aoife Kelly, Cork.
