Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael continue to make gains over other parties – most notably Sinn Féin – according to the latest opinion poll.
On the weekend of Fine Gael’s national conference, the party is up three points to 34% while Fianna Fáil are up four to 31%.
The Sunday Times/ Behaviour and attitudes poll of almost 1,000 voters reveals Sinn Féin have dropped five points to 14%, independents dropped four points to 8%, Labour dropped one point to 3%, while there was no change for the independent alliance at 3%.
