That’s my gal!
Actor Barry Keoghan and his girlfriend are loving every minute of his movie success
BARRY KEOGHAN has come a long way since he played a cat killer on RTÉ drama Love/Hate.
Now the 25-year-old actor has become an international star, and life couldn’t be better for him and his girlfriend, make-up artist Shona Guerin, 21.
His latest role is in the movie How To Kill A Sacred Deer, alongside Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell. And Barry and Shona are jetting around the world for premieres.
The photos they are posting on their Instagram accounts make it clear that they are having the time of their lives… and it’s not all red-carpet glamour either, as they are finding
‘My bird’s better looking than yours’
lots of time to relax and sightsee.
Their pictures include a visit to a Los Angeles recreation of Moe’s Bar from The Simpsons, what looks like a spa break to celebrate Shona’s birthday, and a trip to a bird sanctuary.
At the sanctuary, Shona posted a photo of herself with an owl, captioning it: ‘My bird’s better looking than yours.’
But while they look like any holidaying young couple in the casual photos, they are more than able to turn on the glamour for big occasions.
Shona has turned heads with her ultra-stylish red-carpet gowns.
Barry is from Dublin while Shona is from Killarney. The pair met on a night out in Killarney and have been dating for the past year.
Aside from The Killing Of A Sacred Deer, Barry also landed a role in war epic Dunkirk.
