It’s all paying off for Luisa’s man
ENTREPRENEUR Andrew Collins made his first million some years ago with his online hotel booking firm Needahotel.ie.
He set up the company with Sarah Newman and while he went on to invest and make more millions, Sarah wasn’t so lucky.
Now his latest venture Prepaypower.ie is raking in the cash as recent accounts show the company has nearly doubled its profits in the last year.
Collins, who married reality TV star Luisa Zissman two years ago, saw the firm grow its profits from €6,577,677 in 2015 to €11,238,126 in 2016.
The Dubliner is one of the firm’s four directors.
The savvy money-maker set up Prepay Power a few years ago as he saw a need in the market for a more sensible power buying business for consumers.
In the past few years he also sold his insurance firm 123.ie, making a tidy sum in the process.
Zissman, who shot to fame on the Apprentice and then entered Celebrity Big Brother, met Collins at a UK charity event.
Their romance quickly blossomed and the businessman proposed with a huge sparkler on the balcony of a hotel with a view of the Eiffel Tower.
The pair married in a lavish ceremony in Italy in 2015 and they now have two children together.
