Fishing danger

IRELAND’S fishing industry could be crippled when Britain leaves the EU, trawlermen have claimed on an RTÉ documentary. The UK has announced that as part of its Brexit strategy it will be reclaiming its seas. Such a fishing ban would be a massive blow for the Irish industry, which catches nearly half the value of its annual quota for mackerel and prawns in British waters.
