Megson wants to be No1 again

GARY MEGSON admitted that taking temporary charge of West Bromwich Albion has whetted his appetite for management again — but he is in the dark over who will be handed the job full time.

Megson, 58, had all but given up on trying to become a football manager two-and-ahalf years ago after finding his opportunit­ies limited.

‘This has whetted my appetite again. I enjoyed being on that touchline,’ he said.
