How Mourinho could suffer
IF Jose Mourinho does play a back five today, then Pep Guardiola may revert to the plan that served him so well in the 1-0 win over Chelsea’s back five in September.
1) Then his full-backs Kyle Walker and Fabian Delph came inside almost in front of the centre-halves at times.
2) With Fernandinho in front of the back four, that formed an effective block to Chelsea’s midfield three.
3) It allowed David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne to push out wide, finding space to support the attacking three. Chelsea were outnumbered in midfield — and United could do again today. VITAL ROLE: Fernandinho
