NO COMPASSION OR DIGNITY IN DEATH
A resident died and ‘the coffin was pushed through the entrance corridor. Little dignity or respect was offered to the [residents] in the home. Staff did not try to hide the body while the coffin passed, no curtains available to pull on double doors.’
Resident was ‘sent to the hospital unaccompanied, with no warm clothes and without [their] walker. [They were] incontinent [and] not supplied with a change of the necessary clothing Resident being charged for religious services, which were free.
