HARRY KANE’S hat-trick goal was an effort all of his own making. His sliding tackle on Burnley’s Steven Defour outside the penalty area fed Ben Davies, who passed inside to Dele Alli on the edge of the box. Kane, meanwhile, had got up off the turf and begun his run into the box, where Alli quickly laid off a pass with his right foot, allowing the England striker to take one touch with his right and fire into the bottom corner with his left foot.
