It was honours even at the annual Dub Stars v Dublin games at St Vincent’s. The AllIreland champions had two points to spare in a 2-18 to 2-16 win, thanks to two first-half goals by Aaron Byrne (pictured), with Pat Burke and Jason Whelan netting for the Dub Stars. The Dublin hurlers went down by 1-24 to 0-21, with Alan Moore scoring the only goal.
