How Norah got taller and leaner

NORAH Casey has also shed the pounds as she goes from businesswoman to dancing diva.

‘Nothing could have prepared me for this. I thought, “Great, I’ll get fit”. I do about three hours a day stretching and my partner Curtis (Pritchard, pictured) helps me. My shoulders were completely hunched over from sitting at a computer for hours every day. Now they’re totally back because my first dance is the Foxtrot.

‘The length of my body has changed, my legs, my whole shape. I’ve lost just under a stone.’ As well as learning to dance, Norah said she is learning to laugh and has embraced a new freedom in her life. And while she is usually covered up in baggy clothes, she will be stepping out in front of the nation in what she says is a ‘sparkly swimsuit’. LIVERPOOL lad Jake Carter is already proving to be a natural on the dancefloor. And with his boyband good looks the singer is sure to be a popular contender. The good news is Jake (pictured with dancer Karen Byrne) is ‘single and ready to mingle’ and has moved in with his superstar brother Nathan in Enniskillen. ‘We’re both messy and we both can’t cook. Mum comes over every now and then to do the washing and ironing. ‘I get compared to Nathan – I’m the younger brother by eight years. It doesn’t bother me at this stage.’
