Marty takes the DWTS party to Croke Park

MARTY Morrissey seems like a man on a mission to introduce his dance partner to the wonderful world of GAA.

Last week, Marty, 59, told us he had taught Ksenia Zsikhotska the refrain ‘up the Banner’ – a cheer for his home place Clare, otherwise known as the Banner County. And this week, he whisked the Ukranian, 29, to Croke Park in Dublin where the pair posed for a photo shoot.

RTÉ sports commentator Marty is an early favourite to take the glitterball trophy, though keen aficionados of all things ballroom will already have spotted that the man never leads with his right.

And while he would probably prefer the Sam Maguire Cup in his cabinet, he is clearly hoping to woo GAA fans in his bid for glory, especially after last year’s winner was Kerry footballer Aidan O’Mahony.
