Quit bashing RTÉ

I think RTÉ does a very good job and gives value for money. I thought the Late Late Show was very good last Friday night – The only thing was that the interview with Sean Spicer was short and I would have preferred to have heard more. RTÉ gives very good coverage of politics in general and Prime Time is an excellent programme.

Some people condemn Fair City as rubbish but it is the best soap on television. The latest storyline with Dr Oakley and the cult is brilliant.

Some people might think that whole cult storyline was very farfetched but look what happened in Guyana in 1978 and Waco Texas in 1993.

So people should not be giving out about paying the television licence, because it is good value for money. Maureen Lowndes, Geashill, Co. Offaly.
