It’s a Schelott-ery with penalty decisions

-

BRIGHTON felt they were hard done by with a couple of referee Jon Moss’s penalty calls which didn’t go their way in the first half. Former Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher, working for Sky Sports, insists only one was clear cut.

Chelsea keeper Willy Caballero mis-times his dash out of goal and seems to block Ezequiel Schelotto. Gallagher said: ‘On review it’s a penalty. When you see it first time it’s a difficult decision to make and Jon Moss can’t see it because he’s on the wrong side of Caballero.

Penalty claim 2 36 mins

Tiemoue Bakayoko and Schelotto tangle in the box, Schelotto goes down and gets booked for his trouble.

Gallagher said: ‘Not a foul at all. Both running for the ball. Bakayoko has got his back to the ball and doesn’t see him. To me it’s a natural coming together.
