Casting couches

Unfortunately, the casting couch will always be there.

Successful actors and actresses do not ‘need’ it now, but many used it or were abused by it before fame arrived for them.

It’s laudable that those whose names we all know are coming out with justified criticism for this practice, but it has been with us since biblical times. The young wannabes will continue to be abused. Those in positions of authority will continue to abuse with impunity.

Does anybody really believe that at this present minute, there is not a situation of casting couch abuse taking place?

And this situation, sadly, is not confined to the movie industry. It’s happening in every walk of life. Shame on us, all of us, as human beings.
