Hacker gives Pádraig a risqué online makeover
GOLFER Pádraig Harrington’s Twitter account was hacked yesterday – and it was not suitable for family viewing.
The three-time major winner has more than 102,000 followers on Twitter. His account normally focuses on his interests in golf, charity, his clothing line for Dunnes Stores and family life.
But his account @padraig_h was taken over by ‘Tammy Boolman’ yesterday who described ‘herself’ as a ‘voice actress/Travel lover’.
‘She’ changed the golfer’s profile photo to that of an attractive woman and posted risqué photos.
By yesterday evening, the photos had been removed and @padraig_h’s profile photo was blank suggesting Harrington was taking action to recover his account.
Some of his followers saw the funny side, with one posting: ‘Looks like Padraig Harrington has undergone quite the transformation, judging by his Twitter account today.’
