The luxury Eden Rock Hotel on the Caribbean island of St Barthelémy, which is owned by Spencer Matthews’ family, was ruined by Hurricane Irma in September.
But extensive renovation work is under way and it is hoped that it will reopen for business in the summer – no date has been set for the celebrity couple’s wedding yet.
The €880-a-night luxury hotel had been a hotspot for celebrities.
Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lopez, the Rothschilds and Rockefellers have all stayed there.
It is owned by David and Jane Matthews, parents to Spencer and James – Pippa Middleton’s husband.
