Delaney to rev up Mondays

-

SIMON Delaney has a new TV show starting tomorrow night called ‘How’s Your Driving?’ looking at the driving habits of Irish motorists.

Simon, above, told The Diary, ‘I’ll always remember the advice a pal of mine got from his dad when he started driving back in the late 1980s,’ Delaney told us.

‘“Son, assume every gobshite on the road is as bad as your Aunt Maura and you’ll be fine.” Thirty years later, if our roads are getting better, our cars safer and the average Irish person is spending up to two hours a day driving, we wanted to know, why are some of us still so bad at it?’

This is bound to be very sobering. It’s on for the next four Monday nights, on RTÉ One at 8.30pm.
