Will Mel B get caught up in the battle of the Simons?

THE reunion couldn’t come at a better time for Mel B, who has been left on the financial brink following her expensive divorce from Stephen Belafonte.

But the payday is not without complications – and she now fears her plum role as a judge on the panel of America’s Got Talent might be at risk.

The reunion means she has once again started working with Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller... who is the arch nemesis of fellow AGT judge – and format creator – Simon Cowell.

The Simons – pictured above in happier times – fell out when Fuller accused Cowell of stealing his Pop Idol format for The X Factor, and then doing the same in America.

A source close to Mel B said: ‘Simon Cowell has been enormously loyal to her over the years, giving her highly lucrative jobs. But now she’s worried she won’t be asked back for the next series of America’s Got Talent because she’s working with Fuller again.

‘She’s in a real state over it.’
