‘Pack it in,’ Groves tells rival

GEORGE GROVES is urging old rival James DeGale to hang up his gloves. ‘Pack it in, mate. You ain’t got it no more,’ Groves said.

After seeing DeGale’s loss of his world title to Caleb Truax in December, Groves says: ‘James wasn’t right that night. I can’t see him getting back to his best again.’

Groves is confident ahead of his super-fight next Saturday with Chris Eubank Jr.

‘I’m now a much better fighter than I was a couple of years ago,’ he said. ‘I fully expect to beat Eubank and go onto the final.’
