Ciara gets comfy on Ireland AM couch

THE drama about the permanent spot on the Ireland AM couch is such a hot topic, it could become an item on the show. Sources say TV3 bosses are ‘dragging their feet’ over Sinéad Desmond’s replacement, who left in a row over equal pay last year. ‘They just seem focused on Ireland’s Got Talent at the moment,’ said one source. But the Diary hears they are planning big changes.

‘Mark [Cagney] is due to hang up his mic next year, so they are planning to revamp the show,’ said an insider.

Meanwhile, interim replacement Ciara Doherty, pictured, is getting comfy on the couch and wants to remain. And she’s a big hit with viewers.
