MAKING A BREAK FOR IT AT EASTER

I stayed for a night in the Peninsula Hotel in Chicago a few years ago, a fabulous hotel in a brilliant location, just off the city’s ‘Magnificent Mile’. Now I see the Peninsula hotel group are pushing the boat out for Easter with all kind of Easter ‘specials’ available in their hotels worldwide. Easter workshops (Manila), activities for children (Bangkok) and a ‘treasure egg’ (Paris) all feature with, in Chicago, a rather enticing Easter Brunch on offer, served in the hotel’s recently revamped lobby, which, I remember, was an airy and particularly lovely part of the hotel.
