Ramsey set to return as Pep rules out boozy celebration

- By Steve Stammers

AARON RAMSEY has won his fight to be fit for today’s Wembley showdown.

A groin injury sidelined the Arsenal midfielder after his hattrick against Everton three weeks ago but the indications are he will start against Manchester City.

Ramsey, who scored the winner in last season’s FA Cup final against Chelsea, as he did in the 2014 final against Hull, had no reaction to a fitness test yesterday.

Team-mate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has used his twoweek break to boost his physicality. The £56million signing was cup-tied for the Europa League matches with Ostersund and boss Arsene Wenger said: ‘He was not at his best physically and we took advantage of the last two weeks to build him up physically. I think he will be much sharper.’

With the sides meeting again in the league at Arsenal on Thursday, Pep Guardiola has banned City from drinking if they win the cup.

‘Normally there is no alcohol,’ he said. ‘Talking about the celebration before the game is stupid.’
