Snow limit to hardy Kate’s devotion to Orla Kiely!

-

KATE Middleton braved the elements this week when she stepped out at the National Portrait Gallery in London in an Orla Kiely number.

The Duchess, pictured, who is heavily pregnant, took a risky sartorial step given the inclement weather conditions as she stepped into a wall of cameras without a coat and just the floral smock dress on show.

The fashion choice is sure to give a huge bump to Irish designer Orla’s label as The Kate effect’ usually leads to armies of women climbing over one other to get one. Orla, inset has been one of Kate’s most favoured designers since she joined the royal family in 2011. Among her choices from Orla’s line are the Birdie print dress, which Kate has worn on more than one occasion; the salmon-pink elbow-length sleeve dress, which she wore to meet the cast of Paddington 2 last year; and she also donned a grey pleated dress with floral appliqué in 2015.
