Kylie: I hope I’m lucky in love again

- By Chris Hastings

KYLIE MINOGUE has admitted that she hasn’t abandoned hope of finding love – despite the recent pain of her broken engagement to actor Joshua Sasse.

‘I’m not giving up on relationships… I’ll probably be foolish again,’ she said.

She also revealed if she doesn’t look for a new man, she ‘might as well stay at home and get lots of cats’. The Spinning Around singer added: ‘No offence to multiple-cat-loving people, but my greatest fear is loneliness.’

Asked if she was really going to marry toyboy Joshua – 20 years her junior – the Australian pop princess replied: ‘I had the ring on my finger, didn’t I?’

Kylie, who will turn 50 next month, also admitted that she isn’t against going under the surgeon’s knife if it helps her retain her looks.

‘I’m not pro or against [surgery],’ she said. ‘One of my absolute idols is Jane Fonda, and the way she has handled it is very admirable.

‘I remember her saying something like, it’s 80 per cent genetics, ten per cent taking care of yourself and ten per cent a good surgeon.

‘So if, and when, the time comes, I’ll be taking a leaf out of her book.’
