MOS REVEALED GILROY BEHIND VILE ‘CG’ TEXT

THE Irish Mail on Sunday revealed two weeks ago that Craig Gilroy was the person referred to in court as ‘CG’ who sent a WhatsApp message to Stuart Olding the day after an alleged double rape at Paddy Jackson’s Belfast home. In a message to his teammate, the 27-year-old Ulster winger wrote ‘any sluts gets f ***** .’ After the MoS revelation, the IRFU and Ulster Rugby announced Mr Gilroy would be part of its internal review into matters raised by the rape case and Mr Gilroy issued an apology. He was de-selected to play for his side and will not be available for selection again until April 26, according to yesterday’s IRFU statement.
