Cuckoo director dies
TRIBUTES were paid last night to Milos Forman, the Oscarwinning director of One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, following his death aged 86. The Czechborn film-maker, who died on Friday, was best known for the 1975 film, starring Jack Nicholson, and Amadeus, about composer Mozart.
Cuckoo’s Nest, which starred Nicholson as a patient in a mental institution, won five Oscars.
It took $100m at the box office.
