The narrative concentrates on the characters who were part of Orwell’s life during his self-imposed life as a tramp at the end of the 1920s. Drew takes on the role of Orwell himself, and the welledited script, taken directly from the original book, celebrates a string of characters from the villainous and the charming to the psychotic.
