We didn’t, especially for wine-tasting! Check car thoroughly for previous damage. Take photos, including tyres. Bring your own baby seats if needed. Sat navs are pricey to rent. Bring your car phone holder and 12V USB adapter and use Google maps on it if you have a cheap data deal.
