brigade are becoming a parody of themselves. A Co. Leitrim voter was angered to find a Bible in front of him on the desk as he collected his vote from the local polling clerk. He told the Irish Times that he believed ‘a very strong message was being communicated there’. We don’t know who is worse, the dope who complained, or the Irish Times for reporting it. Polling clerks are required to have a Bible in case they need voters without any ID to swear to their identity. So it turns out there was a message being communicated. It was: ‘You’re an idiot.’
