day Taoiseach Leo Varadkar was elected, Senator Catherine Noone gifted him with a tie. While speaking to RTÉ, with Noone in studio, An Taoiseach pointed out to his party colleague that he was wearing the tie she gave him (that’s the tie in the picture). The gesture seemed to make her slightly emotional but she managed to contain herself.
