TREES

No matter how small your garden, you should try to grow at least one tree. They provide cover, perches, nesting sites, habitats and, often, seeds and fruit to be eaten. They are a particularly good source of food for herbivorous insects. These insects are not only an important part of your garden’s wildlife, they are in turn food for many other creatures, especially birds.
