The problem was, it wasn’t Meath’s quarter-final away to Longford, it was a bus to Portlaoise where the county’s arch-rivals Dublin take on Wicklow. Given that Donaghmore-Ashbourne just happens to be the home club of Meath senior football captain Bryan Menton (right), you can imagine the reaction. No surprise, the advertisement quickly disappeared.
