Soccer star Robbie is all set to tie the knot… and Tia’s marrying too
THE wedding of the month has to be that of Ireland soccer star Robbie Brady and Kerrie Harris, which is taking place at Adare Manor next weekend. Brady became a national hero two years ago when his late headed goal against Italy secured a win and got the team into the last 16 of Euro 2016. Kerrie revealed on Instagram that she and her fiancé had recently been at Adare Manor to sample wedding fare including strawberries dipped in chocolate. In other wedding news, model Tia Duffy is on her way home to marry later this month. The Canada-based beauty will walk down the aisle with fiancé Dermot Hickey at Castlemartyr Resort in east Cork. And in an unconventional twist, Tia, main picture, is having a ‘bridesman’ as well as two bridesmaids. She has asked a childhood friend, John Paul, to step into the role. She previously told the Diary: ‘John Paul and I have been friends since we were four. I think he always knew deep down that he would be my bridesman.’ She also posted old and new photos of herself and John Paul, inset above.
