How I changed my mind
WALKING to the newsagent for my Irish Mail on Sunday, I passed a neighbour who said: ‘Lovely day, lovely day.’
On paying for my paper, the shop assistant said: ‘Have a great day, have a great day.’
It occurred to me that maybe these people watch and listen to Ray D’Arcy, who has a habit of repeating himself. I find this habit annoying.
Walking back home, I met anouther neighbour who said: ‘You’re looking well, you’re looking well.’ I changed my mind. I don’t find it annoying, I don’t find it annoying.
