A BRAZEN ATTACK ON A CASHIER

At precisely nine minutes to ten at night, a brazenly barefaced girl enters a shop and pulls out a knife. She approaches the cashier and demands cash from the till. It is yet another nasty incident that shop workers in the area must cope with regularly as addicts rob for cash. Business people now say they are intimidated by those carrying out the raids. They have been warned to stop reporting these crimes to the gardaí – or expect retaliation.
