‘Rude’ Lily is banned from Loose Women
WHEN Piers Morgan cancelled her appearance on his show she accused him of a ‘misogynistic abuse of power’. But singer Lily Allen, left, will have to find a new excuse for her latest TV expulsion – she’s now been banished by Loose Women. Lily’s appearance on the ITV daytime chat show earlier this month will apparently be her last – because of her ‘rude and erratic’ behaviour.
Lily, 33, had been on the show before and was invited back to plug her new album.
But far from mucking in with the friendly format that’s encouraged by hosts Ruth Langsford, Linda Robson, Anne Diamond and Stacey Solomon, the scowling singer would give only monosyllabic answers when they spoke to her.
A source close to the show said: ‘She was rude to everyone. Rude to the team backstage, and rude to the panellists. She won’t be allowed on again.’
