AS the eyes of the world are glued to the overpaid prima donnas in Russia, it has been inspirational to see the commitment of the participants in the Special Olympics in Tallaght this weekend.

This is what sport is all about – not records, just doing your best. We salute everyone involved for an event that has a special place in Irish hearts.
