IN RECENT months, former taoiseach Bertie Ahern has reemerged to share his wisdom.
No subject is safe, whether it be Donald Trump, Brexit, the Good Friday Agreement or anything else that will grab a headline.
Some are speculating that Bertie is positioning himself for a run at the presidency. Or perhaps he just likes cribbing and moaning from the sidelines. Whatever his motives, Bertie has surpassed himself with his latest statement, calling British foreign secretary Boris Johnson a ‘buffoon who will ruin Ireland’.
