Go wild and use your green f ingers to save the bees
WITH reports this week that a third of all bee species in Ireland could be extinct by 2030, the National Biodiversity Data Centre has asked people to help reverse the decline by doing their bit in the garden. The tips include planting bee-attracting species such as sweet pea, honeysuckle, sunflowers and lavender. The centre also asks gardeners to leave an area of their lawn uncut during summer months.
