Irish resident, Jeremy Irons, right, has signed up for a new TV show based on the Watchmen comic book series. The Oscar and Emmy winner is no stranger to comicbook heroes, having played Batman’s butler, Alfred, in two films. This series will mark his return to TV after his acclaimed turn in Neil Jordan’s series The Borgias in which he played Pope Alexander VI.
