Dance is having its day in Derry with the We Are Together festival until late tonight.

Paul Van Dyk and Lovely Laura are among the luminaries. The similarly appointed Longitude Festival comes to a close this evening in Marlay Park Rathfarnam with Anderson Paak, SZA and Solange. Get on down to Killarney tomorrow evening to catch Michael English at the INEC while Liam Ó Maonlaí and friends are at Monroe’s in Galway from eight bells. Sofi Tucker is in Whelans of Dublin on Tuesday. Mike Denver is in the INEC Killarney on Wednesday. Anna Burch, pictured left, will delight all in Whelans, Dublin on Thursday. Sean Kingston is in Cyprus Avenue Cork in the evening. The Ollam are in The Royal Theatre Castlebar on Thursday while The Glor in Ennis plays host to the Care Youth Trad Orchestra. Teada are there on Friday while a celebratio­n of female musicians takes place there on Saturday with Ceol na mBan. The Academic play their biggest headline show to date on Friday in the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin while Walking on Cars take to the stage at King John’s Castle Limerick at about that time. Aslan return to the Iveagh Gardens on Saturday after a triumphant show there last week ,while The Coronas are in the 3 Arena. The mightily impressive State Lights play the Artbeat Waterford on Saturday evening as well.
