The full-size, full-spec Microsoft Surface is a productivity powerhouse, but it’s not a small investment. However, this week Microsoft launched the slimmed down Surface Go that looks like it’s going head-to-head with iPads and ChromeBooks. The new device has a 10’’ PixelSense screen and comes with the handy Windows Hello function as well as pen and touch capabilities. Powered by the Intel Pentium Gold, the device manages to deliver sprightly performance in a tablet that weighs just over half a kilo. It’s available with either Windows 10 Home in optional S Mode or Windows Pro. Battery-life of nine hours will give you a full day at work and Microsoft have priced it well, from €460.
