Connolly launched the Dublin Horse Show this week and told The Diary she’s returned to her roots. ‘I’ve always been a horse person,’ she said. ‘I come from a horsey family, I grew up in Straffan, Co. Kildare. My uncle was an international showjumper years ago so he used to take me to the show – it has magical memories for me. When I was older I competed there so it brings me right back.’
