‘Hooligan’ mutt is back on board

RUSSELL BRAND has been reunited with his beloved red alsatian, Bear, after he was sent off for a stint in doggy borstal.

Once nicknamed ‘The Beautiful Hooligan’ by Russell, the dog is now so obedient he stays put when told to sit – even on his master’s paddleboard, as seen in this picture, right, taken by Brand’s assistant on the Thames in London last week. Six months ago the Diary revealed that Bear was nearly shot by a farmer for worrying sheep – forcing Brand to send him off for behavioural therapy.
